To make this event unique for Breast Cancer Survivors, one day is exclusively scheduled for Breast Cancer Survivors. Plus, we have introduced the "Draw for the Cure", an opportunity for Cancer Survivor teams to win money to take back to their local cancer centres. The 2008 Draw for the Cure purse of money will be based on the number of BCS teams that register to attend and race in Windsor this year.

We are proud to say in 2007; we had over 80 corporate/community teams and 13 breast cancer survivor teams which helped to raise $305,000! Funds raised have been directed to Windsor Regional Hospital and Breast Health Centre, The Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital Foundation, Windsor Essex County Cancer Foundation, Leamington District Memorial Hospital, Karmanos Cancer Institute and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. In the events four year history, over $849,300 has been raised for breast cancer causes. 2008 will surely be the MILLION DOLLAR YEAR!
